George Washingmachine

George is an entertainer. The bulk of his work is in various jazz scenes, both in Australia and abroad. His swinging violin and vocals are highly regarded. He also plays double bass and guitar. George has a long history and involvement in many genres and disciplines and is a true original.

Ian Date

Ian started playing guitar as a profession in 1975. He has gone on to carve out an extensive international career for himself. He has returned to Australia after living in Ireland since 2002. He has played on more than 70 albums either as a sideman or a leader. Ian has performed with many Australian and international musicians. Rooted in the jazz tradition, at home on the acoustic or electric guitar.

"His versatility is exceptional. Ian’s guitar playing, with his moving bass lines and melodic chord voicings is jaw-dropping... and to top it all off he’s a most entertaining performer. If he’s playing in your area seize the opportunity to see and hear one of Australia’s finest guitarists." Hank Marvin, (The Shadows)

George and Ian have recently returned from a 26-day concert tour of Germany and France and grace us with a spot at Rock & Roll on Saturday 4th of May from 5:30 pm. What a thrill!
