About Kaleido Mullumbimby
Kaleido Mullumbimby, is an entity initially comprised of members from Creative Mullum and The Mullumbimby Chamber of Commerce. Now with the involvement of some of Mullum’s creative people, ‘KM’ or Kaleido for short is breathing life into a Community Arts and Creativity Festival, to be held on the first weekend of May each year in our Northern Rivers town of Mullumbimby.
Watch this video to see how it all began.
Chamber of Commerce Initiative
An initiative of the Mulumbimby Chamber of Commerce and Creative Mullum. Mullumbimby is a town at the centre of a region that is abundant with artists and creatives with a passion for what drives them. We will create events, festivals, workshops and happenings to showcase our town beginning with the Mullum Laneways Festival in 2023.

Sparking Creativity
Kaleido Mullumbimby strives to build a stronger community by bringing people together, sparking creativity, joy and openness through the arts.
What’s the best part about bringing together a group of like-minded individuals? Their drive to connect with one another and support local causes. Be part of this exciting creative community festival by becoming one of the crew who will make this festival come to life.
From the Director
It constantly astounds me, the depth of expertise and talent that his little community in the Northern Rivers has within its midst.
Not only the talent, but the willingness to commit to building a stronger community, through sharing and developing their own skills, but encouraging and engaging with others for a greater outcome.
Sharing and giving, of their time, resources, and financial commitment.
It takes a special group of people, to put on an event of this scale and complexity, all for the benefit of others, to witness, engage and participate in, the expression of artistic and creative talent.
Kaleido Mullumbimby is that group and Mullum Laneways 2025 is that event this year.
It will be a sample of the creativity that is around us that doesn’t always have an outlet that is accessible to everyone.
It is difficult to thank everyone, but there are a few key contributors, that I would like to mention here.
